Micro Animations in Design

As everything in our lives becomes increasingly bland and mediocre, like Netflix or your favorite web content, we need fun and character.

Now, I’m neither fun nor a character. Still, I know a thing or two about design and interactions, so I put together a small video about micro animations.

If you are not a designer, you’ll enjoy this more than designers will. Hopefully it can shed some light on the little things in life, and that Microsoft Office and Teams are not peak design. Really, their design team should be made to run a gauntlet.

And finally, a plea to designers and developers not to lose sight of the little things that make a difference. The Devil is in the details, folks 👨‍🎤
